Terms of Service

1. What the service is

VocalTools is a set of tools for singing and ear training (tuner, breathing, vocalization, harmony, chords, piano and academy), available as a web app and as an Android app. It has free features and premium features (Pro plan).

The service is educational. It helps you practice, but it does not guarantee results and does not replace a singing teacher or a health professional.

2. Vocal health and responsible use

Singing and voice exercises involve physical effort. Before using the tools, warm up your voice, take breaks and do not force notes outside your comfortable range. If you feel pain, burning, hoarseness that does not go away or any discomfort, stop and see a health professional, such as a speech-language pathologist or an ear, nose and throat doctor.

The exercises, lessons and values the service shows (for example, the detected note, the tuning or your vocal range) are for guidance and may contain errors. They are not a diagnosis or medical or professional advice.

You decide how and how much you use the service, and you are responsible for using it prudently and following these recommendations. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for injuries, discomfort or damage resulting from improper or excessive use, from not following these recommendations, from mistakes when using the tools or from pre-existing health conditions.

3. Your account

Features that require an account use Firebase (Google) authentication. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.

You confirm that you are of legal age to enter into a contract in your country, or that you have your legal guardian's consent.

4. Plans, prices and payments

The Free plan is free. The Pro plan is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual).

International payments are processed through Polar, acting as the merchant of record: Polar is the seller that charges and invoices you and remits any applicable taxes in your country. Local payments in Argentina are processed through Mercado Pago. We never see or store your full card details.

Prices may change; any change applies to future periods, not to a period already paid. The Pro subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid period.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, attempt to breach its security, resell or redistribute access without authorization, or use automated means to extract data in bulk.

You are responsible for the content you create or share (for example, patterns and projects): you must hold the necessary rights to that content.

6. Intellectual property

The software, design, trademarks and content of VocalTools belong to the operator or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the service under these terms.

You keep ownership of the content you create. By sharing it within the service, you grant the technical permissions needed to store it and show it to the recipients you choose.

7. No warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

Audio tools depend on your device, microphone and browser; their accuracy may vary.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service. Nothing here limits rights that consumer-protection law grants you on a mandatory basis.

9. Changes

We may update the service and these terms. If a change is material, we will communicate it by reasonable means. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts of the City of Buenos Aires, without prejudice to the venues that consumer-protection law reserves for the user.
